Born in Alberta, Canada in 1977, Brad Fritsch grew up in Ottawa where he got his start in golf from his parents, both of whom were avid golfers. He turned pro in 2000 and won his first international tournament, The Azores Open, in 2006. Since then he has gone on to win the 2014 Web.com Q-school by 7 shots and most recently claimed top honors at the 2016 Servientrega Championship to earn PGA Tour status again for the 2017 season.
With 4 top 10 finishes on the PGA Tour, 3 runner-ups and 1 win on the Web.com Tour under his belt, Brad is a seasoned veteran who continues to improve his play year after year. He has listed the late Payne Stewart as his hero and has stated that his biggest thrill in golf is competing against the best players in the world.
Outside of golf, Brad’s biggest thrill has been the birth of his children. He is a sports enthusiast with an uncanny ability to rattle off statistics and information most of us have long forgotten. With a degree in Criminal Justice Administration, Brad has said that if he did not play golf professionally, he would want to work for the FBI or the CIA.
